"E-Trains" (the "App" or "Service") is a free mobile application that displays Catalonia suburban train (Rodalies) schedules using public data from Gencat, Renfe, and ADIF.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must comply with applicable laws. You must be at least 4 years old to use the Service. If your local law sets a higher age of consent, you must meet that higher age requirement.
The App is free. We may introduce optional paid features in the future; if we do, billing terms will be added here and any charges will go through the Apple App Store under Apple's standard rules.
The App fetches schedules, platforms, and service alerts from public endpoints operated by Gencat, Renfe, and ADIF. We are an independent client and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Renfe, Rodalies de Catalunya, FGC, ADIF, or the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Schedule, platform, and alert data come from third-party operators and may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. The App is provided as a convenience; do not rely on it as the sole source for time-critical travel decisions. Always confirm with official station displays for travel that cannot tolerate disruption.
You will not:
Gencat, Renfe, and ADIF are independent operators. Their availability, accuracy, and terms are outside our control. We are not responsible for their acts, omissions, downtime, or data quality.
The App and all related materials (excluding upstream data) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. No rights are granted except as expressly stated. Train schedule data remains the property of its respective operators.
We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Updates may be required to continue using the App.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms or create legal or security risk. Sections that by their nature should survive (including §§5, 8, 11–15) survive termination.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, INCLUDING MISSED TRAINS, MISSED CONNECTIONS, OR TRAVEL DISRUPTIONS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS. Where law does not allow full exclusion, our liability is limited to the minimum amount required by law.
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the App or your breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Armenia. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Yerevan, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Before filing, the parties will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith for 30 days after written notice to the contact in the header.
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when the updated text is made available in the App or on its website. You are responsible for reviewing these Terms periodically. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
You represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any embargoed country or on any government denied-party list, and you will not use the Service where prohibited by export-control or sanctions laws.
E-Trains is the controller for processing described here (except where Apple or other platforms act as independent controllers for their own services).
Data comes from your device (your queries) and from the upstream operators (their schedule responses). We do not receive personal data from third parties.
Google retains Firebase Analytics data under its own policies and configured retention period (currently set to the Firebase default unless we change it). We do not control that retention. Upstream operators (Gencat, Renfe, ADIF) process your queries under their own terms and policies; we do not control their retention.
We do not run our own servers. Schedule queries are sent directly to upstream operators. Analytics events are sent directly to Google Firebase, which holds them on our behalf under §7. Your favorites and settings live only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the App.
Analytics data sent to Firebase is processed by Google and may be stored on servers outside your country, including the United States. Schedule queries are sent to Gencat, Renfe, and ADIF servers located in Spain. Apple may process related data internationally under its own safeguards. We rely on the safeguards each provider applies under their own terms.
We use reasonable technical measures appropriate to a free, no-account app. Communication with upstream operators uses HTTPS where supported. No system is perfectly secure; transmission involves risk.
Because we do not store personal data, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our side. For data held by upstream operators or Apple, contact them directly. You can clear your favorites and settings at any time by deleting the App. For any question, write to make.it.great.app@gmail.com. You may also contact your local supervisory authority.
The Service is not intended for use by children under 4. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us to request deletion.
Data sent to or retrieved from Gencat, Renfe, ADIF, Google (Firebase), and Apple is governed by their own privacy policies. Review the latest versions on their official websites.
We may update this Policy at any time. Changes take effect when the updated text is made available in the App. You are responsible for reviewing this Policy periodically. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acknowledgment.
